Protests in Jansenville against the presence of an Aberdeen man with Covid-19 at the SAWAS hospital are escalating.

Tyres are burning, and the SANDF arrived in force late this morning to support SAPS to try to restore order. Bridge Street, the main road through the town, has been blocked with rocks and burning tyres.
